Work has already begun on the expansion of CAP Doctor Joan Planas, which is planned to allow 650 square meters of space to be added to the current building for consultations as well as rehabilitate the areas intended for continued care and health education. Also the reception and customer service area will be expanded.

The works are expected to last 16 months and end at the end of 2021, they will be carried out in the courtyard interior of the current building, space where the extension will be located, and will be executed in phases. Now, in one first, it has begun to adapt the current facilities to maintain attention while the works last.

The tender opened by the Generalitat was awarded to Constructora d’Aro for 1.95 million of euros for a building of 713 square meters.
