Upgrade of Plaza de las Armas at Parc de la Ciutadella

Rehabilitation and enhancement project of the Plaza de Armas in Parc de la Ciutadella, one of Barcelona’s most iconic spaces, located next to the Parliament of Catalonia. The intervention included the renewal of drainage systems and flowerbeds, the replacement of curbs, and the adjustment of ground levels to improve the functionality and comfort of the area.

The original geometry was reinterpreted, and native plant species were restored, while the automatic irrigation and drainage systems were upgraded. The project follows a zero-waste strategy, reusing materials generated on site within the park to minimize environmental impact and preserve its natural value.
